: Analisis Perbandingan Efisiensi Tataniaga Benih Ikan Gurame Melalui dan Tanpa Melalui Kelompok Tani di Desa Sukamaju Kidul Kecamatan Indihiang Kota Tasikmalaya
Abstract
Gurame fish is one of the commodities in Indonesia which has economic value. Length of time and risks in production became important thing to be considered and would affected the amount of carp farmers revenue. In addition, supply from other areas which had better production caused competitive minimum selling price at farmers level. Therefore, the research of efficiency in gurame fish marketing is needed in order to provide gurame fish marketing comprehensively. The objectives of this research were to identify the marketing channels, institutions, functions and market structure of gurame fish marketing, and to analyze the operational efficiency of gurame fish marketing with marketing marjin approach, farmer’s share, and benefit-cost ratio. Besides that, it also determine presence impact of a farmers group in marketing activities. The observations and interviews were conducted to farmers in Sukamaju kidul village by purposive sampling method, while the method of snowball sampling was conducted to marketing institutions. The result showed that there were 5 marketing channels with different institutions, functions, and market structure on every channel. Operational efficiency analysis showed that there was difference in farmer groups business administration and it was also more efficient.
