Analisis Perubahan Kelembagaan dan Dampak Pengganda (Multiplier Effect) Pengembangan Kawasan Wana Wisata (Studi Kasus: Gunung Galunggung, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya)

Abstract

Mount Galunggung is located in Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. It classified into ecotourism area that attract tourists for a wide range of tourist activities that offered. Ecotourism area in Galunggung which growing through institution changes. Institutional change in management can influence effectiveness, relationships between stakeholders, and the resulting economic impact. The objective of this research is to analyze institutional changes, where there is a change in institution through the initiation phase which begins with discussion stage, then formation stage by the establishment of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between managers, and socialization through counseling. Institutional effectiveness assessed through perceptions that consists of two types of respondents, i.e members of the institutional and non-institutional members. Institutional effectiveness assessed based on the substance and the resulting ecological impacts. Most of the perception showed that the level of perception both good and moderate, just in terms of accessibility to tourist sites that show the results are not good and less good. There are seven stakeholders selection considered to identification from informants on the study area and assessed based on the importance and influence of each stakeholder. The economic impacts these resulted such as job opportunities, increase revenue, and household incomes. The economic impact was calculated through multiplier analysis of the Keynesian Income Multiplier, Ratio Income Multiplier type I, and Ratio Income Multiplier type II respectively 1.36, 1.37, and 1.49.
