Jamu formulation is based on pharmacological activity of the constituents. New jamu formula consisting of three supporting plants (analgesic, antibacterial, and antiinflammatory) and the main plant becoming efficacy target (anticholesterol). This new jamu was formulated using PLS (partial least square) with R-Gui software version 2.15.2 generated formula consisting of a mixture of Merremia mammosa tubers, leaves of Guazuma ulmifolia, Orthosiphon stamineus, and Murraya paniculata as the main plant. The formula was tested on zebrafish. The tested jamu formula were jamu formula 1 consisting of a mixture of the four plants with main plant as the most component and formula 2 with the main plant as single component. The total cholesterol average of zebrafish under normal condition was 220 mg/dL (p>0.05), while on the hypercholesterolemia condition was 272 mg/dL (p>0.05). After giving the extract for 7 days, formula 2 lowered total cholesterol greater than that of the formula 1; however, those values were not significantly different at the alpha value (p>0.05).
