Poverty is one of fundamental issues that attracts the attention of governments. Important points of poverty is about poverty measurement problem. One of the poverty measurements that provides a comprehensive poverty view is Foster-Greer-Thorbecke (FGT). This paper analyzes the poverty measures of FGT from Pareto income distribution type I. This study uses the average of total outcome per capita per month and poverty line in 2010 that was reported by Statistics Indonesia. The result of the analysis shows that the provinces having distribution of income satisfying as the Pareto income distribution type I model in parameter α = 1.5 from 33 provinces are West Java, Banten, DI Yogyakarta, Bali, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and Papua provinces. Papua Province has the highest percentage of poor, poverty gap, and distribution of poverty, meanwhile the lowest percentage is Banten Province.
