Pengujian Galur Harapan Padi IPB di Provinsi Lampung

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate ten (10) lines of new plant type (NTP) of rice. This research was conducted on April – August 2013 in Desa Sukajaya, Kelurahan Raja Basa Jaya, Kecamatan Raja Basa, Kota Bandar Lampung, Lampung. Postharvest observation was conducted in Postharvest Laboratory, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). A Randomized Complete Block Design with a factor and three replication were used in this experiment. Ten lines of rice that were used are IPB 158-F-1-2-1, IPB 158-F-7-1-1, IPB 159-F-14-3-1, IPB 159-F-15-1-1, IPB 160-F-3-1-1, IPB 160-F-4-2-1, IPB 160-F-7-3-1, IPB 160-F-36-1-1, IPB 161-F-1-2-1, IPB 161-F-6-1-1, Ciherang, and Mekongga. The result showed that IPB 161-F-6-1-1 line is the best line and has important characters of new plant type of rice such as medium number of productive tillers, low number of empty grains, high number of filling grains, high weight of 1000 grains, and high productivity. IPB 160-F-3-1-1 and IPB 160-F-4-2-1- could also potentially developed.
