Revitalisasi Perkampungan Budaya Betawi di Setu Babakan, Srengseng Sawah, Jakarta Selatan

Abstract

Perkampungan Budaya Betawi is located in Setu Babakan an engineered village, Srengseng Sawah Village, South Jakarta established by the government as the site of preservation and Betawi cultural development. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the existence of physical component, non-physical and value as well as proposing a revitalization efforts based on potential and assessment landscape. The result of this research are expected to be input for the government as well as provide recommendations on model (template) of Jakarta’s revitalization. This research is done in three community (RW) (7th, 8th,9th) at Srengseng Sawah village, South Jakarta. The method that is used in the inventory/survey, Kappa statistic and assessment of historical and cultural landscape. The research show that kappa coefficients value of region shows the potential areas of conservation (0.819). Based on historical and cultural landscape assessment, the 8th community as a village embryo have the highest value in iii originality and uniqueness of the highest compared with 7th and 9th. Therefore it is recommended that develoved based on balance between phsyical character and socio-cultural value of Perkampungan Budaya Betawi instead of potensial economic activity. Revitalizing it is also recomended that development community participation, so that the efforts taken not only survived in a short time period, but can be sustainable and meet the community needs.
