The study was carried out to investigate the prevalence, intensity of infection, and the related risk factors of toxocarosis in cattle of Ujung Jaya Subdistrict, Sumedang. The number of 108 fecal samples were collected and examined by modified McMaster method to determine the number of Toxocara eggs per gram (EPG). The potential of risk factor regarding to sex, age, and livestock management were obtained by interviewing the farmer. The result showed that of the total 108 fecal samples, 11 samples were positive to toxocarosis with prevalence of 10.18%. The mean number of eggs per gram fecal in infected cattle was 7 005.5 ± 3 534.4. The highest prevalence was observed in calf ≤ 6 month of age group only (42.31%) and was more prevalence in male (32.14%) than female (2.50%) (P<0.05). The prevalence of toxocarosis among different husbandary practices of cages management, feeding, sanitary, and anthelmintic was not significant (P>0.05).
