      Abstract
Status of feed digestibility, milk production, and growth in cow and calf are indicator of performance improvement milk production and cow population in the dairy farm area. Study about the relation between feed, digestibilility, and performance (milk production and growth of calf) in the dairy farm area have not much done. Pangalengan is a central of dairy farm that coordinate by KPBS. The purpose of this research is to know about status of feed digestibility, milk production, and growth of calf in public farm KPBS Pangalengan. Sixteen weaning cows were used for feed digestibility and milk production observation, also sixteen calfs were used for body weight observation. The observational data of the overall parameters was analyzed descriptively then statistically using analysis of variance (Anova) method. Status of feed digestibility and milk production of dairy cows in KPBS Pangalengan can be used as indicators of the growth calves. Percentage of feed digestibility which were dry matter 81.40%, crude protein 89.29%, crude fat 95.12%, crude fiber 63.54% and ash 77.34% show the feed digestibility was good. Milk production showed good quality in the first 8 weeks lactation which was 18.74 liter/cow/day. Growth of body weight in calf was 0.2 kg/calf/day. Based of these result, Dairy farm KPBS Pangalengan have good management for dairy cows that would keep the cows healthy and productive.
