Abstract

Segara Anakan is unique ecosystem that are closely interrelated with open water areas, marshes and mangrove ecosystem, it is habitat for various species of flora and fauna. it has important ecological, economic and social functions. Ecologically, this area is a sawning and nursery ground for marine lifes that can effluence to the catch of fisherman in South Java, due to declining mangrove area, the value of economic activity in this area is also decreasing.
