dc.description.abstract | Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb., Phyllanthus niruri, Curcuma aeruginosa and Andrographis paniculata Nees are used in feed formulation of anti-virus of the bird flu, may change description chicken blood profile. This study aims to describe chicken blood profile fed finisher period plus herbal formula as a natural antibiotic. Experimental design that used was a randomized complete design with five treatment groups; were the control, simplicia dose 1 and dose 0.5, extract dose 1 and dose 0.5. The parameters tested were Feed Convertion Ratio (kg/kg), mortality rate (%), erythrocytes numbers (millions/mm3), hematocrit value (%), hemoglobin levels (g%), leukocyte numbers (thousands/mm3) and differentiation (%), serum protein total (mg/ml). The 0,5 extract dose showed a significant effect on decreasing the number of erythrocytes, hematocrit, hemoglobin levels, monocyte values. There was no effect of the treatment on leukocytes numbers, heterophile and lymphocytes value, serum protein total. Eosinophils increased significantly in the treatment group of extracts dose 1. Highest mortality is in the simplicia dose 0.5, lowest feed efficiency found in the extract dose 0.5. | en |
