Sanseviera is a well-known ornamental plant leaves which is called lidah mertua blue leaf in Indonesia. Sansevieria sp. blue leaf has leaf width with tapered tip, wavy leaf side and green leaf with white reddish leaf side. The leaf cutting of Sansevieria sp. does not produce rooted shoots efficiently. This research was aimed to obtain an appropriate combination of basic media and plant growth regulators (PGR) to stimulate in vitro shooting and rooting through callus. Shooting was induced using two media (MS and WP) supplemented with (5mg/L and 7 mg/L) BAP in combination with 0.5 mg/L NAA. ¼WP liquid medium with 0.5 mg/L IBA and compost:zeolite:sand at a ratio of 4:4:1 were used as rooting medium. The results showed that WP with 5 mg/L BAP and 0.5 mg/L NAA is produced the best growth of the shoots and leaves for 23 week after planting (WAP). Medium ¼WP liquid with 0.5 mg/L IBA that incorporated in a mixture compost, zeolite, and sand were able to induce rooting on eight plantlets in 8 weeks after shoots were transfered into rooting.
