Body condition score (BCS) is one indicator to know high or low of fat and meat deposit on carcass and non carcass from an animal. The purpose of the research to evaluated carcass and non carcass characteristic of thin-tailed sheep (DET) on Body condition score (BCS) effect at slaughter house Maleber, Bogor. Research used 99 heads of DET. The sheep grouped into 3 group BCS, thin (1), medium (2) and fat (3) . Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The result showed DET with BCS 3 (fat) were significant different higher live weight, carcass weight, and empty body weight from the other BCS (thin and medium). Carcass’s percentage on BCS effect showed same value from efect value of BCS 1, 2, and 3 . The differences of body condition score effect to non carcass characteristic were significantly (P<0.01) on weight and diverse on percentage whereby on the percentage of liver and rumen is different (P<0.05) but peresentase other components except heart, spleen and skin very different (P<0.01) . The percentage of weight from spleen, skin, and blood is not effected by BCS.
