Faktor-Faktor Produksi dan Pendapatan Peternakan Ayam Ras Petelur Yuki Farm di Harau Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota

Abstract

Indonesia’s agricultural economic growt is powerd by the poultry industry. One of those poultry industry is Yuki Farm in Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota, West Sumatera. There are several critical factors that must be considered in the laying hens farming. There fore this research was conducted to analyze affecting the amount off egg production and to analyze its effect on farmer’s income in Yuki Farm. This study used quantitative analysis. Analysis of production factor was i v conducted by Cobb-Douglass production function and revenue analysis was conducted using R / C-rasio. Based on these analyses, have seven factors of production in laying hens’ farms are DOC, feed, chaff, labor, vaccines, medicines, and disinfectants. Of the seven factors in egg production there are six factors have good influence for the egg production. There factor are feed, chaff, labor, vaccines, medicines, and disinfectants. In the other, DOC have bad influence for the egg production. Base on Cobb-douglass analysis, the value elasticity of product is negative. Its mean the production process can’t increase with added input value because the added input will decrease total value production. Base on income analysis, the Yuki Farm has an efficient and good profit, because the R/C-rasio more than one.
