Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Penerapan Usahatani Padi Organik di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya

Abstract

The economics and enviromental justification for organic farming could be considered strong enough to promote its adoption. Specially in the developing countries. Due the problems that are facing in conventional farmers,and reported benefits and opportunities derived from organic farming, questions may be asked about why organic rice farming is not adopted by most of the farmers. This research aims to analyze organic rice farming profit compare to conventional rice farming, and to analyze determinant factor in adopting of organic farming in Tasikmalaya. By using R:C ratio it can be proved that organic rice farming is more beneficial than conventional rice farming. Beside that, the result from using logit regression showed that the important factors in adopting organic farming is the training and farming profit.
