Pengaruh Kemitraan Dalam Upaya Mengelola Risiko Produksi Usaha Ternak Domba. (Studi Kasus: Peternak Domba Mitra MT Farm (Mitra Tani Farm) Desa Bojong Jengkol, Kecamatan Ciampea, Kabupaten Bogor,Jawa Barat)

Abstract

Sheep farming is one of the agribusinesses that is done by many farmers. Sheep farms are often found in society that is still traditional and it is not managed well. Some constraints that are faced by farmers is production risk. One of many alternatives to manage risk is partnership. This study aimed to determine the influences of partnership in managing the risk of sheep production. Analysis was performed by comparing the level of risk of sheep farming between farmers that are partnered and farmers that are not. Based on observations, the influence of partnership in managing risk is more visible on the assessment of the level of risk of pests and diseases faced by the farmers. The partnered farmers faced lesser risk compared to non-partner farmers. The coefficient of variation results obtained by the partnered farmers were smaller by 0.20 compared to non-partnered farmers by 0.26. value of R/C ratio of cash cost partnered farmers by 1.85 and 1.72 for non-partners. While the value of R/C ratio on total cost of 0.94 was the partnered farmers and non-partners of 0.59. Result of this study indicated that the partnership could reduce the risk level of production and increased of farmers income.
