      Abstract
Limitations of observational data are often a hindrance in the analysis of the flood. So it is necessary to other data that can represent data of observation, namely the utilization of remote sensing data TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) belongs to Japan. TRMM data was designed to meet the global rainfall data in the tropics.. The purpose of this study is to develop a simple regression to estimate the Ciliwung river discharge (Katulampa and Depok) using rainfall data from TRMM satellite. TRMM data were validated with observational ground station rainfall data with regression techniques and contingency table by looking at the possibility of detecting occurrences of rain and no rain. The results of the regression between rainfall of TRMM and precipitation station were Gunung Mas Rainfallobservation=0,978×RainfallTRMM+48,18(r=0,79), Katulampa Rainfallobservation=0,929×RainfallTRMM+130,70(r=0,75), and Depok Rainfallobservation=0,468×RainfallTRMM+65,57 (r=0,47). Based on the contingency table techniques, Katulampa station have the highest accuracy. Judging from the two trials can be said that the TRMM rainfall data has been able to represent data observation stations. Results of linear regression equation between the discharge Q (m3/s) from TRMM rainfall (mm / month) for both stations are Katulampa: Q = 0,017 * R +3,603 and Depok: Q = 0,039 * R +7,758. Lowest error is owned by Katulampa station (r = 0,56) is 4,343(r=0,(r=0, (r=0,4.
