      Abstract
In many countries, sustainable agriculture is almost improved and delevoped constantly to increase food availibility. One of the efford is using the fertilizer which derived from nature and modify them to increase the nutrient’s availibity for plants. One of the nature fertilizers is rock phosphate (RP). This study used Fosfohumic fertilizer. Fosfohumic is RP fertilizer that is mixed with humic acid solution. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fosfohumic fertilizer on growth and yield of maize and Cimulang latosols chemical properties, as well as its comparison with SP18 fertilizer. The result of the trial showed that P fertilizer significantly affect on the growth of maize. The height of maize of SP18 has the highest value compared to fosfohumic. The height of maize of FH2 is higher than FH0, but it was not significantly different. Fosfohumic fertilizer (FH0, FH1, FH2) application did not significantly affect on other variables such as the weight of the corn cobs and root, and nutrient uptake by plants. Fosfohumic fertilizer application did not significantly affect on the availability of P in soil. The effect of SP18 has the highest number of P availibility and nutrients uptake by plant compared to fosfohumat. The addition of humic acid could increase the growth of root and weight of corn cobs.
