Nisbah Akar – Pucuk Biomassa dan Massa Karbon Pohon Di Areal IUPHHK-HA PT. Suka Jaya Makmur, Ketapang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat

Abstract

Root to shoot ratio (R/S Ratio) of dominant tree biomass in tropical rain forests (especially IUPHHK-HA PT. Suka Jaya Makmur West Kalimantan) is as follows: (a) R/S root biomass with the main stem biomass ranged between 0.1743 to 0.4828 with an average value of 0.3006. (b) R/S root biomass to above-ground tree biomass (trunks, branches, twigs, and leaves) ranged from 0.1376 to 0.3983 with an average value of 0.2475. Root to shoot ratio (R/S ratio) of carbon mass of the dominant trees are as follows: (a) R/S carbon mass of roots with carbon mass of the main stem ranged from 0.1724 to 0.4593 with an average value of 0.3. (b) R/S carbon mass of tree roots with carbon mass of above the ground ranged from 0.1361 to 0.3951 with an average value of 0.2496. The average value of biomass expansion factors (BEF) of above ground and total of tree is 1.2392 and 1,5398. The average tree carbon mass expansion factor of above ground and total tree is 1.2304 and 1,5305 (Based on data from the dominant trees in IUPHHK-HA PT. Suka Jaya Makmur West Kalimantan).
