Analisis Faktor Sosial Ekonomi Terhadap Tingkat Kematian yang Disebabkan Bencana Alam di Sepuluh Negara Asia

Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between socio economic factors as seen through the variable such as percapita income, years of schooling, land area and population for a panel of ten Asian countries over the sample period over 1980 to 2011. The results showed that the percapita income can reduce mortality; school enrollment rates did not reduce mortality; a larger population will increase mortality and greater land area will reduce mortality.
