Analisis Finansial dan Ekonomi Pengembangan Taman Wisata Alam Telaga Warna Sesuai Daya Dukung Kawasan

Abstract

Nature Tourism Park (TWA) of Telaga Warna is one of the conservation areas which has the potential for development in terms of visitors and beauty. To achieve optimal development potential and overcome limited funds in the area management, on the basis of goverment regulation year 1984 on the exploitation of nature tourism, in 2003 the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) was patnered with PT LDK to develop the area of TWA Telaga Warna. The development of TWA Telaga Warna provides positive impact in the increased number of visitors, but on the other hand, an uncontrollable increase in the number of visitors is feared to trigger a decline in the resource quality. The development of Telaga Warna requires a study of area carrying capacity so that do not exceed the carrying capacity. Moreover, an economic analysis is required to measure the positive and negative impacts during the tourism are development, especially for the surrounding ecosystem. The study results show that the condition of TWA Telaga Warna is still far below the area carrying capacity threshold. While the result of economic feasibility of TWA Telaga Warna development is economically feasible, meaning that development of the area provides does not endanger the sustainability of natural resources and many benefits for provides, society and ecosystems.
