Analisis Ekonomi Lingkungan Bandar Udara Soekarno Hatta

Abstract

Airport management needs to take a good look at some aspects such as security, airplane safety, space planning, local economy growth, and environmental sustainability. One of the ways to taking environment into account is by building an eco-friendly airport. Eco-friendly airport plays an important role for environmental sustainability, however it is still need to know the preference of customer on the willingness to pay for the implementation of eco-friendly airport on Soekarno Hatta Airport. This research is conducted to identify the current condition of airport related with the concept of eco-friendly airport estimate, the customers willingness to pay, and analyze the factors which determines said willingness to pay. Every activity in the airport has their own facility and utility to support a comfortable and safe service. However, the majority of respondents feel that Soekarno Hatta Airport still lack in some aspects, such as comfort, aesthetic, hygiene, and noise control. Research shown among 97 respondents, the average willingness to pay is IDR 13.865,98 per person per flight. Education level, income level, flight frequency, and comfort dummy, are define at 10% significance on the value of willingness to pay
