Abstract

One commodity that many farms are cultivated by breeders of broiler chickens. Broiler breeding process has a shorter culture period than other farm commodities. Broiler chicken farming is inseparable from the existence of business risks. The most common risk is the risk of production and price risk. On-farm production of plasma risk is one risk is quite high, while the independent farm price risk is the risk that a major effect on earnings. This study aims to analyze the sources of risk that affecting farmer’s income, the effect of production risk and price risk to the farmer’s, analyzing the influence of a partnership, as well analyzing alternative strategies appropriate to address existing risks. The method used is a risk analysis, revenue analysis and analysis of the revenue balance (R/C Ratio). The comparison of income between farmers and the plasma independent of Rp 58 618 500 and the value of R/C Ratio of the received independent farmers is 1.16. while in this period plasma farmers suffered losses of Rp -4 465 900 and R/C Ratio of 0.73
