Risiko Usaha Diversifikasi Melon Hidroponik pada PT Rejo Sari Bumi Unit Tapos di Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

Melons are part of the horticultural sector is one of the sectors that have an important role in the national economy because it has a great contribution in the formation of the gross domestic product (GDP) and national enough prospective subsector to be developed because it has a fairly high economic value. Research objectives include identifying sources of risk facing production PT Rejo Sari Bumi Unit Tapos in pursuit of a wide variety of melon, analyzing the relationship between diversification efforts of melon with effort the production risk and provide press strategy is best for the company in order to reduce the risk of production going on. This research using the method of variant analysis tools, standard deviation and coefficient of variation, as well as the expected return. Risk of production sources on this company, among others, changes in the climate or weather conditions, pests and diseases, Labor's fault. Based on risk analysis on a single commodity which organised the company obtained the highest risk found in musk melon while the lowest is at sunny sweet melon. Risk diversification analysis results produce a combination of golden, sunny and sweet musk melon is the most low-risk diversification.
