Keanekaragaman Jenis Burung di Areal PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. Pabrik Palimanan

Abstract

The bird species diversity in the location of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa (ITP) Tbk, can be indicators of the successfully of the PT ITP in relative maintains of the environment. The research was conducted on 8 land cover types in the PT ITP. Bird data was collected using Point Count with the number of points at each location between four to six points, with the distance of each point with observation radius of 150 m and 50 m. Total bird species found at the sampling area is 46 species (25 families). Eight species of birds in the location in the list of protection according to the GR No. 7 in 1999 and two bird species included in Appendix II of CITES. Highest bird diversity index is the location of the Jatropha curcas (H'= 2.98). Evenness index in all types of land cover almost evenly spread of at the sampling area. T-test results showed that wetland, is a significantly different land cover types with trees land cover, plant area, Jatropha curcas, and shrubs. Artificial lake area significantly different with trees land cover, plant area, Jatropha curcas, and shrubs. Another significantly different is buffer areas with trees land cover. Locations with similarity index types (IS) is the highest among plant area with Jatropha curcas (IS= 0.77). The dominance bird species at sampling area was influence by land cover type.
