This research was conducted to study the potential of tempe phytoestrogen to the reproduction performance in female rats (Rattus norvergicus). There were 18 of 21-days old of female rats were divided into two groups, which were control group without given tempe extract and treatment group that has been given the tempe extract with a concentration of 0.25 gr everyday at the the age of 21-days old until 48 days-old. The female rats were sacrificed at the age of 28th, 42nd and 56th days-old to collect the samples of blood, ovarium and uterus. Parameter measured were the rate of estrogen hormone, wet and dry weight, water content, total of DNA and total of RNA. Data were analysed using Independent Samples T-Test method with 95% confidence interval. Result showed the increasing of wet and dry weight of ovarium and uterus in treatment group at the age of 42 days but there was no influence on the total of DNA and RNA of organs.
