Studi implementasi sistim biosecurity dan biosafety karantina hewan pusat di Timor Leste

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate of the human resources condition and implementation of biosecurity and biosafety system at the Center of Animal Quarantine in Timor Leste. The study was conducted with observation and respondent interview by using questionnares and checklist. The result of this study showed that there were still lack in human resources. The implementation of biosecurity dan biosafety system at the Center of Animal Quarantine in Timor Leste was still at a moderate level as well. From this study, some suggestions are provided such as to increase the number and the quality of human resources and to optimalize the use of animal quarantine.
