Mites are organisms that can be associated with animals. Mites usually live as ectoparasites in gecko lizard. The aim of this study are to inventory, identify of mites and learn about their specificity on gecko that it found in Tambun industrial area, and residential area. Gecko species were found during the captured, e.g. Cosymbotus platyurus, Hemidactylus frenatus, Hemidactylus garnotii and Gehyra mutilata. Mites were preserved using whole mount method. The study found seven species of mites, they were Geckobia sp.1 (G1), Geckobia sp.2 (G2) or Geckobia glebosum, Geckobia sp.4 (G4), Geckobia sp.5 (G5), Geckobia sp.6 (G6), Geckobia sp.10 (G10), and Geckobia sp.14 (G14). Leg chaetotaxy observations indicated that mites G2, G4, and G6 were classified into Geckobia group 1, G10 and G14 as G. gleadoviana, and G5 as Geckobia indica. Mites on gecko dominant at hind limb of the leg; the thigh (37.4%) and the space between the lamella with claws (71.1%).
