      Abstract
      Kumis Kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus) is one of tropical medicinal plants that have many benefits, such as treating kidney stones inflammation, albuminuria, and also lowering blood glucose levels. Balittro as a research institution of spices and medicinal plants, began to research Kumis Kucing breeding in 2012 which aims to find the best accessions of Kumis Kucing among the six accessions. Path analysis is being used to achieve the research goal. Response variable under study is the value of production in the form of dry weight of plants with the value of production as the determinant variable and there are also fresh weight growth of leaf length, leaf’s width, leaf’s thickness, stem’s diameter, total leaves, total branches, total shoots, and plant water content. The result of path analysis based on the initial model showed that not all the determinant variables which are measured can influence the response variable. Modification of the model was conducted to determine the best model that describes variance of plants. Path iii analysis based on modified model could increased the variance between 8.10% to 20.29%. The results obtained indicate that the wet weight is the most dominant effect of the increase in dry weight.
