Pengaruh Motivasi dan Persepsi Risiko terhadap Minat Beli Day Cream Berbahan Baku Rumput Laut

Abstract

Day cream product from seaweed can be an alternative good product for skin. One of the released day cream is seaweed day cream which sell in Serambi Botani as development of research toward seaweed extract. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of motivation and perceived risk towards intention to buy seaweed day cream. This research took place at IPB Dramaga Bogor, West Java. Sampling technique that conducted in this research was simple random sampling and involved 400 female students as participant. The results showed that IPB female students were motivated and had no perceived risk if would buy seaweed day cream, but still not interested in buy a seaweed day cream. Analysis of regression indicated that intention to buy seaweed day cream jointly effected by age, region of origin, allowance, using the day cream experience, motivation, and perceived risk. Motivation and perceived risk variables proved to give effect partially towards intention to buy seaweed day cream.
