Coral transplantation in common had purpose to rehabilitize a location which have a bad condition of it’s coral reef or to build a new area of coral reef. But now days, transplantation also developed as the coral culture for ornamental coral trading. Favites paraflexuosa corals have a delightfull beauty, so this kind of coral could be used as an ornamental coral. The information from this kind of coral is still limited so a further research is needed. The purpose of this research is to known the survival and growth rate, absolute growth, wound recovery and colour change of coral massive Favites paraflexuos Veron 2000 which placed in a cement module and compiled in (1x1) m2 shelf. Survival and growth rate of this coral’s transplation showed a high value. So, that transplantation had a good succesfull rate. Wound recovery and colour change of that coral transplantation had a rather fast period.
