Biologi Reproduksi Undur-undur laut Emerita emeritus Di Kecamatan Buluspesantren Kabupaten Kebumen, Jawa Tengah

Abstract

Mole crab is well known as one of fisheries resources in Kebumen which has the potential to use. This research aimed to measure aspect of biology reproduction such as sex ratio, fecundity, classification and development egg, and alternative of management plan for fisheries. The research was conducted at sandy beach in Subdistric of Buluspesantren Distric of Kebumen, Central Java in the period of October 2012 until February 2013. The result of sex ratio is unbalanced with average of 98.73% for female and 1.17% for male. Total number of mole crab that taken during the research was 1243 individuals. The relationship of fecundity and lenght carapas was estimated F= 150.32CL – 3044.6 with number of coefficient (R2) is 42.53%. Fecundity of lenght carapas in stages also had a little number of coefficient. Result of egg diameter of mole crab show that the type of reproductive is total spawner. Size of egg diameter had a increased number. The alternative of management plan for mole crab resources in Kebumen is selectifity of catch
