Perencanaan Lanskap Obyek Wisata Sejarah Gedung Juang 45 Bekasi Jawa Barat
Abstract
Gedung Juang 45 Bekasi (GJ45B) is a historical area as legacy from the colonial period, located in Bekasi District, West Java Province. The existence of this site is now neglected due to lack of concern from local government to preserve the area.The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify the historical value and landscape character of GJ45B, (2) to analyze the potential and constraints of the site to be developed as a historical tourism object, and (3) to develop the concept and site plan for GJ45B historical tourism object through spatial, circulation, activity, and facility program which supporting historical interpretation of the site. The study followed the planning process of Gold (1980) consisted of preparation, inventory, analysis, concept, synthesis, and planning. The analysisused descriptive and spatially by using scoring and weighting to physical, historical, and tourist aspect and resulted threesuitability zones for historical tourism development with high, medium, and low values. The conceptual planfor the site is GJ45B as an educational and recreational historical tourism objectby developing historical interpretation of Bekasi District as well as GJ45B. The final product of the study is site plan including spatial plan, circulation, plans of activities and facilities.
