Kajian Pengaruh Kebijakan Redenominasi dan Faktor Lainnya Terhadap Perubahan Harga dan Transaksi Dalam Kondisi Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Tinggi

Abstract

Redenomination is a simplification of the policy of the currecy by reducing digit (zero number) without reducing the value of the currency. Redenomination related research carried out by using an economic experiment. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of response relative price changes, changes in the relative value of the transaction, and the change in the number of transactions relative to the redenomination policy in conditions of high economic growth. The effectof redenomination can be seen by using a variety of similarity test, the mean difference test and histogram charts of each combination of factors. Redenomination lower the price at the time of low inflation and increase the price at the time of high inflation. Redenomination increase the value of transactions in commodities elatis due to declining commodity price elastic, causing the value of transactions increased. Redenomination down the value of transactions in commodities is inelastic due to inelastic commodities tend to increase the price so that the value of transactions declined.
