Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Wortel Benih Lokal dan Benih Impor (Studi Kasus: Desa Ciherang, Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Cianjur)

Abstract

Indonesia import carrot in the form of seed and also tuber to provide the needs of the domestic carrot has not fulfilled. Import seed of carrot in Indonesia is a signal for farmers to develop farming, seen the increasing demand of carrot import in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the income and income efficiency carrot using the different seed are import seed and local seed used by farmers in the study sites. Analyses were performed with farm analysis and Mann- Whitney statistic test to determine the income and efficiency of income are more profitable. The results show that the income of carrot import seed is higher to Rp2 761 000.00 compared with local seeds of Rp997 250.00. Farm efficiency analysis based on the value of R/C ratio, the return to capital, and the return to labor also showed that import seed more efficiently which is also supported by the results of statistic tests (exact.zig(2*(1-tailed sig.<). Results analysis can be use as recommendations to farmers in order to increase income and profits.
