Garut ewes are small ruminants that have the prolific genetic potential to be developed as Good Farming Practice. The genetic potential should be supported by feed quality and balanced nutrition. Periparturient behavior is one of the important aspect related to livestock management, maintenance management and feeding management. This research aimed to study and observe garut ewes behavior of prepartus, partus and postpartus. The number of experimental animals were 11 garut pregnant ewes. The research treatments were of P0 (control), P1 ( 2% addition of sunflower seed oil), P2 (4% addition of sunflower seed oil), and P3 (6% addition of sunflower seed oil). This research used completely randomized design, the data were analyzed by ANOVA and significantly different would be continued by Tukey's test. The observed parameters were behavior of prepartus, partus and postpartus. The results showed that the addition with 2%, 4%, and 6% of sunflower seed oil which containing linoleic influenced the behavior prepartus and partus, but did not have any impact on behavior postpartus.
