Abstract
Chicken is one of the poultry comodities whose food consumption level nowadays has reached 16,3 percent deriving from local poultry (Ditjennak, 2012). One kinds of range chicken which is grown in poultry farm is native chicken. Sehati farmers group is one of the farmer group which is grow native chicken intensively. This farmers group has a problem in management, on-farm, and marketing therefore needs a business development strategy to the continous of this business. This research purposes are identifying internal and external business environment condition from sehati farmer group, determining business development strategy alternative, and priotizing strategies. There are some methods in this research which are IFE (internal factor evaluation) and EFE (external factor evaluation) matrix, IE (internal external) matrix, SWOT (strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities, threaths) matrix, and at last QSPM. The result of the analysis showed that sehati farmer group was in grow and build stage with intensive and integrative strategy. The result of SWOT analysis identified that there were six alternative of business development strategies which could be implemented. The highest priotizing strategy based on the calculation of QSPM matrix was a strategy to expanding market of native chicken to new market outside the current and existing market.
