Capture fisheries subsector in DKI Jakarta Province has been facing serious problems on various dimensions. Those problems threat its sustainability in the future. Fisheries sustainability is determined by several interacting dimensions such ecology, economic, social. technology and institution. The purpose of this research is to 1) estimate optimum alocation of capture fisheries in DKI Jakarta Province, 2) determine the degradation and depreciation level of capture fisheries in DKI Jakarta, 3) determine the sustainability status of capture fisheries in DKI Jakarta according five sustainability dimensions (ecology, economy, social, technology, and institution), 4) determine dynamic optimation management of capture fisheries in DKI Jakarta Province, and 5) formulate policy direction of economic development of sustainable capture fisheries in DKI Jakarta Province. The fisheries resources on this research seperated as pelagic and demersal. The research used bioeconomic analysis, degradation and depreciation analysis, sustainable analysis with Rapfish techniques and dynamic analysis. Result of the bioeconomic analysis showed that the harvest and effort of pelagic and demersal resources were above than optimal level therefore those resources have been over exploited. Degradation and depreciation analysis showed that pelagis resouce have been degraded dan depreciated meanwhile demersal resource have been not degraded dan depreciated. Sustainable analysis with Rapfish techniques using multi dimension scalling (MDS) and modification of AHP showed that the sustainability index of pelagic was 39,63. Based on categorized, it means was in less sustainable with economic dimension as the most priority dimension that influently to sustainability of pelagis resources. Mean while, the sustainability index of demersal resources was 37,15. It means the resource was less sustainable with ecology dimension as the most priority dimension. The dynamic model of this research was composed of three sub models, such as ecology, economic and social. Those sub models were used to predict of sustainability indicators on each dimension. The indicator of ecology, economic and social model were natural stock of resources, profit and profit to UMR. Result of dynamic analysis showed that limiting number of fishing effort can kept the natural stock of fish on sustainable stock. Based on result of all analysis, one of the best policy to improve sustainability of capture fisheries in DKI Jakarta is synergetic policy which consider ecology, economic, and social indicators.
