Analisis Peranan Sektor Pariwisata dan Subsektor Pendukungnya terhadap Perekonomian Kabupaten Badung

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the sector-based potential and strategic services in the development of national and regional economies. Development of the tourism sector will affect the development of other economic sectors. Badung regency is one of the areas in the province of Bali by having the main tourist attractions of the Bali island. This is one of the reasons that prompted the government to continue to enhance the development of the tourism sector. This research uses input-output analysis of the Input-Output Tables Badung Regency in 2009 with the classification of 54 sectors into 13 sectors and 9 sectors. Results of this study indicate that the trade sector has a huge effect, while the tourism sector has less influence on other economic sectors. However, the sub-sector of tourism subsector restaurants and cafes have a considerable influence on other sectors of the economy both upstream and downstream. Therefore, the government should continue to improve the tourism sector by prioritizing the development of subsector restaurants, and cafes in order to stimulate the economy of the Badung regency.

Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor berbasis jasa yang potensial dan strategis dalam pengembangan perekonomian nasional dan daerah. Pengembangan pada sektor pariwisata akan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan sektor-sektor ekonomi lainnya. Kabupaten Badung adalah salah satu daerah yang berada di Provinsi Bali dengan memiliki tempat-tempat wisata utama dari Pulau Bali. Hal ini merupakan salah satu alasan yang mendorong pemerintah untuk terus meningkatkan pengembangan dari sektor pariwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis input-output dari Tabel Input-Output Kabupaten Badung tahun 2009 dengan klasifikasi 54 sektor yang diagreasi menjadi 13 sektor dan 9 sektor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sektor perdagangan memiliki pengaruh yang besar, sedangkan sektor pariwisata kurang memiliki pengaruh terhadap sektor ekonomi lainnya. Pada subsektor pariwisata yaitu subsektor restoran, rumah makan dan warung memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap sektor perekonomian lainnya baik sektor hulu maupun hilir. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah harus terus meningkatkan sektor pariwisata dengan memprioritaskan pengembangan subsektor restoran, rumah makan, dan warung agar dapat mendorong perekonomian Kabupaten Badung.
