Efek Damping pada Soliton DNA Kuintik Berdasarkan Prinsip Variasi
Abstract
DNA is one of the macromolecules that has very important roles in biological system of organism. Some of the Activities of breather DNA are transcription and replication. DNA transcription that related to DNA denaturation bubble, is influenced by viscosity of medium. DNA breathing can be set by the QNLS equation with a finite set of parameters. The purpose of this research is to study the dynamics of parameters variation of damped QNLS equation that describes the influence of surrounding medium to DNA soliton. Variation parameters of the QNLS equation were obtained using the variational method, where damping is considered as a perturbation. Damping factor causes a significant reduction in amplitude and widening of DNA soliton’s wave. Damping factor has also shown the existence of the change in the number of nucleotides that are involved in the process of DNA denaturation.
