Medicinal plants are tremendous natural richness in Indonesia with at least 2039 species from Indonesian forest. On the other hand, the use of medicinal plants experiencing great challenges such as degradation of either in medicinal plant species or in indigenous knowledge aspects in the use of medicinal plants. The purpose of this study was to produce a web-based information system applications, analyzing the level of people's interest in medicinal plants, and the response of the information system. System development includes planning, analysis, design, implementation and testing including a survey on the public, and system maintenance. Information system that contains data of medicinal plants was successfully built and implemented on the community. Based on the current survey implementation, information system gives effect to the increase in the level of public interest in medicinal plants.
