      Kandungan Logam Berat Kadmium (Cd) dalam Daging Ikan Sapu-sapu (Pterygoplichthys pardalis) di Sungai Ciliwung

      Abstract
      Ciliwung River has become a suitable habitat for catfishes nowadays. Those fishes are not endemic to the area, however, but an alien species which come from South America. This research was conducted in order to find out the cadmium (Cd) lead concentration inside the fish’s flesh from this particular river. The samples of Catfish (Pterygoplichthys pardalis) are gathered from various points, namely Bogor, Depok and Jakarta, using net in the process.The Cadmium (Cd) concentration were then analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric method (AAS). The results were compared with the normal content level which issued by the government, therefore the information on the fish’s cadmium (Cd) concentration level from the Ciliwung River could be revealed. The supporting data (cadmium from sediment and water) was also obtained. The result from this experiment shows that the cadmium concentration level of the fish was <0.005 ppm. The Cadmium level of the sediment was also bear the same result, whereas the water contains <0.001 ppm Cadmium level. The normal content level is 0.01 ppm, therefore the results were above expectations.The fish is widely used as a raw materials for food such as meatballs, otak-otak and siomay. The conclusion is that the fish from this river is safe to be consumed because the cadmium (Cd) level is well below the normal content level.
       
      Sungai Ciliwung dewasa ini merupakan habitat bagi jenis ikan sapu-sapu. Ikan sapu-sapu tersebut bukanlah ikan asli dari Sungai Ciliwung melainkan ikan asli dari Amerika Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi logam berat kadmium (Cd) pada daging ikan sapu-sapu di Sungai Ciliwung. Ikan sapu-sapu (Pterygoplichthys pardalis) dikumpulkan menggunakan jaring dari lokasi Bogor, Depok dan Jakarta. Kandungan Cd dianalisis dari daging ikan dengan menggunakan metode spektr ofotometrik serapan atom (SSA). Hasilnya akan dibandingkan dengan nilai baku mutu yang telah dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah, sehingga didapatkan info rmasi batas aman mengkonsumsi daging ikan sapu-sapu menurut parameter logam Cd. Data pendukung tentang logam berat Cd diperoleh dari kandungan Cd dalam sedimen dan air. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kandungan Cd dalam daging ikan sapu-sapu <0.005 ppm. Hasil analisis sedimen menunjukkan nilai konsentrasi Cd yang sama yaitu <0.005 ppm. Adapun data di lingkungan perairan menunjukkan konsentrasi <0.001 ppm. Banyaknya jenis makanan seperti otak-otak, siomay, serta bakso membuat beberapa orang memanfaatkan daging ikan sapu-sapu sebagai bahan bakunya. Hasil data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai kandungan logam Cd pada daging ikan sapu-sapu berada dibawah baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan oleh Badan Standarisasi Nasional, sehingga layak untuk dikonsumsi menurut parameter logam Cd.
