      The Role of Training on Employee Productivity Trans Pakuan in Bogor

      Abstract
      Training is a process of teaching new or existing employees in order to have the requared work skill. In practice, it is expected to contribute a good impact on employee productivity. One of transport companies in the city of Bogor is the Trans Pakuan, a Regional Transportation Company. Although the company is the only one transportation company in Bogor, but the skill of employee is still very low significantly. The main objective of this study was to analyze how the influence of training and motivation in developing the employee productivity in Trans Pakuan, Bogor. The subject of this study was employee of Trans Pakuan and census was used the technic of sampling. Data used include primary data (obtained by interview) and secondary data (literature study). Based on the analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS), it is known that the effect of the training an motivation model on employee work productivity yield R values 0.690, and the effect of the training on motivation yield R values 0.435, with estimate a path coefficient training model on employee productivity of 0.281 (alpha 5%). While, the effect of the training model, motivation with the interaction on employee work productivity yield R values 0.712, with estimate a path coefficient training model on employee productivity of 0.316 (alpha 5%). This means that training turned out to give a real and significant impact on employee productivity. It can be concluded that training plays an important role in increasing Trans Pakuan employee productivity in Bogor.
