Abstract

Gender equality and justice is a very important issue and a commitment to the nations of the world to achieve a harmonious and equitable relations between men and women. The purpose of this study was to analyze gender relations in Usaha Kecil dan Menengah is seen from the access, control and positioning between women and men in the management of UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) Kampoeng Tegalwaru; identify characteristics of UKM members (age, education level, length of follow UKM and gender) and relation to gender relations, as well as the success of UKM and their relation to gender relations in UKM. This study used a quantitative approach with a qualitative approach supported. The individual members of UKM respondents expressed no distinction between men and women in the division of labor, but social division of labor and gender bias still looks great. The success of UKM in line with gender relations. The more equal gender relations, the UKM are increasingly successful. The success of UKM is also due to the awareness of UKM members (male and female) in the management of UKM to the duties and responsibilities of each.
