Analisis Kepuasan Mahasiswa TPB-IPB terhadap Fasilitas Asrama

Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure satisfaction level of the first year students on dormitory facilities. This research also aims to determine factors that affect satisfaction by using structural equation model. The objects of this research are 238 first year students, whose data are collected using simple random sampling. Students are divided into two groups, namely those who live in the male dormitory as well as in the female dormitory. This research analyze the data using structural equation model, with overall satisfaction as endogenous latent variable, while for exogenous latent variables are bedroom, bathroom, canteen, worship, sports, and parking facilities, as well as security, senior resident, dormitory regulations, and the dormitory’s program. From the results of descriptive analysis, it can be concluded that 65% of the students express dissatisfaction with dormitory facilities, while 35% are satisfied. From the results of structural equation modeling, it is show that the factors influencing students’ satisfaction are bedroom (dissatisfied), security (dissatisfied), and dormitory program (satisfied).
