Perencanaan Lanskap Pesisir Pantai Klara Sebagai Kawasan Rekreasi di Kecamatan Padang Cermin Kabupaten Pesawaran Lampung Selatan

Abstract

Klara Beach is one of the beautiful beaches in Indonesia. This beach has potentials to be a recreation area that attractive the tourist because it still natural and protected. White sand and pure sea water are being potential from this beach, but there are some problems make Klara Beach isn’t recognized by many people. The problems are uncontrolled planning develop in this beach, many trader built their store without planning and caring the environment. Based on those problems, the coastal landscape planning study needs to be done by having objectives (1) identifying and analyzing potential and constrain (2) identifying and analyzing object and attraction of tourism (3) planning coastal landscape as a recreation area. Gold (1980) method was used in planning process with stages; preparation, data collection, analysis, synthesis, and planning. Spatial and descriptive analysis were used to analyze all data collected. Landscape plan of Klara Beach was resulted in this research which is consist of ; vegetation, circulation, activity, and facility plans. It was concluded that 1,7 Ha (11,7%) Klara Beach’s area was suitable for tourism, 1,8 Ha (12,2%) was marginally suitable, and 11,2 Ha (76,1%) was not suitable for recreation.
