Character of Squid net fishing unit at Bajomulyo Coastal Fishing Port is multi gear, which squid net is used to catch squids and lines are used to catch narrow-barred Spanish mackerels. The objectives of this research were to describe squid net fishing units that land their catch and its productivity; and study the feasibility of fishing business by used financial analysis of squid net fishing units. This was made case study from research and data were analyzed by technical and financial analysis. There were two types of squid net fishing units, the first was squid net fishing units with refrigerated fish hold and the other was non refrigerated fish hold. Based on technical analysis, it was known that squid net construction is consisted of net made from polyamide and polyethylene which range from 9x9 meters to12x12 meters, rigs made from 15 meter bamboo and purse line made from polyethylene. Furthermore a line construction consisted of a nylon line and two hooks. For operation, 32.100 watts lamps which exceed the standard requirement, were used to attract squids. The benefit of refrigerated fishing units was significantly bigger than non refrigerated fishing units, Rp 717,499.029.2 compare to Rp 258,980,319.4 in year. Squid net fishing unit was reasonable to be developed since NPV > 0, Net B/C >1, and IRR > rate of interest. It was also known that rising of fuel price did not effect to this business. Unit penangkapan jaring cumi yang terdapat di PPP Bajomulyo bersifat multi gear, yaitu menggunakan alat tangkap jaring cumi untuk menangkap cumi dan alat tangkap pancing untuk menangkap ikan tenggiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unit penangkapan jaring cumi yang bersifat multi gear yang mendaratkan hasil tangkapannya di PPP Bajomulyo dan produktivitasn ya, serta menentukan kelayakan usaha melalui analisis finansial dari pengoperasian unit penangkapan jaring cumi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi analisis teknis dan finansial. Dalam proses analisis data unit penangkapan jaring cumi dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu unit penangkapan jaring cumi yang mengunakan fasilitas freezer dan yang tidak menggunakan fasilitas freezer. Hasil analisis teknis diketahui bahwa konstruksi jaring cumi terbuat dari jaring dan bingkai bambu berukuran 9 x 9 meter sampai 12 x 12 meter. Pengoperasian jaring cumi dilakukan menggunakan alat bantu lampu dengan daya 32.100 watt dan ini melebihi ketentuan yang berlaku. Keuntungan yang diperoleh dari unit penangkapan jaring cumi dengan freezer mencapai Rp 717.499.029,2, lebih tinggi dari jaring cumi non freezer yang hanya mencapai Rp 259.980.319,4 per tahunnya. Usaha pengoperasian jaring cumi layak untuk dikembangkan karena memiliki nilai NPV > 0, Net B/C > 1 dan IRR lebih besar dari suku bunga. Berdasarkan analisis sensitivitas, usaha ini termasuk tidak sensitif terhadap kenaikan harga BBM.
