Biodiversity, Morphological Character and Reproduction Aspect of Mangrove Fish at Muara Angke Conservation Wildlife, Penjaringan North Jakarta

Abstract

The research was conducted in Muara Angke Wildlife Conservation, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The aim of this study was to determine fish diversity in mangrove ecosystem, morphological character, and reproduction aspect (P. schlosseri, A. Gymnocephalus, and L. subviridis). Furthermore, those were compared with the same fish species in Ujung Kulon National Park. The result showed that there were 32 spesies belongs to 29 genera and 24 families were found in Muara Angke Wildlife Conservation. Based on PCA analysis, P. schlosseri has variance that can be explained 45.5%, L. subviridis 59.8%, and A. gymnocephalus 64.5%. The highest fluctuating asymmetry character is located in gill rakers. P. schlosseri supposedly better able to adapt to the pattern in the SMMA positive allometric growth (b> 3). Fecundity of this three species is vary and depend on environmental factors.
