      Abstract
The internship program has been conducted at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur, Buatan Estate, Pelalawan, Riau from February 13 to May 13 2012. The purpose of this internship program is to learn oil palm cultivation and specifically analyzes the factors that influence the production of palm oil. The data to be collected consist of primary and secondary data. Buatan estate generally have applied the technique of oil palm cultivation in accordance with standard operating procedures that have been established by the company. Based on double linear regression analysis, FFB (Fresh Fruit Bunch) production is influenced by the number of harvesting working days and the amount of harvester output. The coefficient of determination (R2) generated that variables of FFB production as dependent variable can be describe by the independent variables (harvesting working days, amount of harvester output and rainfall) for 98.3%. The main problem is the decrease in crop productivity for plants older than 22 years as the age of the plant is already above the maximum age of the average productivity of oil palm.
