Analisis Program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dalam Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Desa Lulut, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat

Abstract

As responsibilities to local communities, PT Indocement has a corporate social responsibililty program that also supports the sustainable development called jathropa plantation. The program should be able to reduce social and environmental impacts provided by the company. The purpose of this study was: (1) analyze PT ITP’s CSR program and its compliance with the three pillars of CSR; (2) analyze the implementation of sustainable development in the CSR program of PT ITP; (3) analyze how the implementation of sustainable development programs tackle the environmental and social impact from PT ITP. The research was carried out by quantitative and qualitative methods using questionnaries and in-depth interview. The result indicates that the program is not able yet to provide a significant advantage for the company but has been able to improve the quality of the environment and people’s lives. The program also has a high rate of success in the implementation of sustainable development, which able to cope with the social impact but not with the environmental impact.
