Penentuan Rute Pendistribusian Minuman Ringan Menggunakan Metode Heuristik

Abstract

Distribution of goods is one important part in marketing activities. Therefore, it should be done effectively and efficiently. In this article, the study is focused on soft-drink distribution in order to minimize distribution cost, which includes two activities, i.e. delivery and pick-up. The methods used are nearest neighbour heuristic, petal heuristic and some other methods for route improvement. The methods for route improvement are 2-opt method, 3-opt method, restricted 2- interchange, and route merge methods. The study case results show that the more improvements are given, the better route will be obtained.
